Portal Improvements – Update

The Society is pleased to advise that a number of improvements have been implemented to our Online Application Portal, which have been designed to improve user experience.

The following improvements have been made:

  • Save Functionality – Users can now save from page one of the application / dip / illustration. Previously users had to get to page five before the system would allow them to save the case. As users move through each screen, the system will automatically save the case, allowing users to drop out and return at a later time.
  • Expenditure is now a table instead of users having to select each category from a drop down box. Please note that a figure must be typed into each box (which users can tab through). If the item is £0.00, users must put a 0 in the box.
  • Where a case is a re-mortgage, it no longer requires users to answer the estate agency question.
  • The other occupiers add button is more prominent.
  • Where a fee is payable, users can now select to add the fee or pay up front (customers will need to call the branch to pay this or the branch will contact the customer).
  • NI number no longer needs to be in capital letters.
  • Nationality list has been updated so British and Irish are at the top.
